On a gorgeous day this past September, Mallory and Bryan and their friends and family gathered to watch them tie the knot at Trillium Resort. The days leading up to their wedding were rainy, cold, and didn't look too promising, but thankfully the sun was out for us on one of the only nice days I can even remember from last month.

The ladies & gents prepped themselves in side-by-side cottages, and we witnessed their ceremony in a sunshine-filled yard overlooking the lake. The dinner and reception were full of great food, drinks, and lots of laughter; this is pretty much what I'd come to expect from their families. 

As always, Trillium did a great job hosting, and as you'll see, bride and groom were absolutely stunning.

Tristan has been a close friend of mine since public school. Steve, I just met last year, but I instantly loved the two of them together. They have such a playful, romantic relationship, and we wanted to come up with some photos of their engagement that really expressed that. The hour or two we spent shooting was basically just laughter, with a few photos snapped in between.. this made for candid photos that represent how Tristan & Steve are together.

Since their session, myself and the rest of their family and friends have witnessed their marriage, at one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to. Not only were their ceremony and reception locations absolutely stunning, but the little details that Tristan & Steve came up with made their day that much more personal and special. 

The two of them are currently on their honeymoon, hopefully enjoying the warm weather down south! They have obviously already received their photos from me, but I still wanted to blog their session. My first official post here is one that is very close to my heart!

Tristan & Steve, I can't wait to see where life takes you. I'm so happy for you guys!
